Comedy for those who can't take it
“Not dirty, just sick,” is how Wild Bill Bauer, Lord Carrett, and Dwight York are selling their comedy act.
These three alums of the “Bob and Tom” syndicated radio show are pioneering a new kind of comedy, one that has no swear words but isn’t for the fainthearted.
Carret, famed both for his risky joke rhythm (tells a lot of them, and some fall flat to set up the good ones) and his really cool pompadour (his Web site actually has instructions on how to build your own), is maybe the most well-known of the three, but Wild Bill Bauer has garnered You Tube infamy for his Russian Roulette Team number.
“Sick, Sick, Sick, but Funny, Funny, Funny” goes down at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Saturday in Dubh Linn Pub, 109 W. Superior St. Tickets are $10 at the door.
